Therapy does not have to be scary! I strive to make clients feel safe and comfortable in sessions using a nonjudgemental approach to help clients through their current struggles. I often take a laid back approach in my sessions.

I am trained in EMDR and DBT. I use a variety of treatment interventions to meet client needs based on their own individualized goals. I will discuss treatment options and provide education on them during sessions. We will work together to help you achieve your individualized goals and to have overall wellness.

I am a compassionate, down to earth therapist. I offer an empathic, laid back, and sometimes humorous approach to therapy sessions. I use a personalized approach to help each individual meet their own needs and goals in therapy.

I specialize in working with people with depression, anxiety, Boderline Personality Disorder, substance use disorders, and trauma. I also have experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

I am Kristin. I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and Masters degree in Social Work from Michigan State University. I am also is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CAADC). I want to make services accessible to all!
