My clients describe me as:
A counselor who is has a person-centered approach, is focused on your goals, and provides a safe space.
Something to know about my approach is:
At our practice we have several counselors available to speak with you! We are queer and neurodivergent owned and aim to ensure our clients feel seen for who they are. Most of our therapists use CBT, Mindfulness, and strength-based approaches.
Together, we will:
We believe in meeting you where you are at and structuring our treatment to match with the goals that you have for yourself. Your life is your journey to navigate, we are here to be a support while you do and to offer you tools to help along the way!
I specialize in working with people who:
We primarily work with clients who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, who are neurodivergent, are racial or ethnic minorities, who have suffered discrimination in some capacity, or are otherwise underserved (such those requiring ASL interpretation).
I became a therapist because:
It is easy to go undiagnosed and unseen in a society where our emotions are not valued. I want to create a space where others can feel seen and heard.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
We are a 100% telehealth practice. We have a focus on serving communities that suffer discrimination, being able to be accessible is a priority!
More about me and my practice:
I am the owner of Suppression 2 Expression Counseling. I am queer and neurodivergent. My goal is to be able to increase accessibility to underserved populations. I want to provide a space for therapists where they can feel respected and seen.
