For better or worse, I’m always swinging for the fences. My goal is to fundamentally change your life from the ground up. I can’t promise we’ll get there. I can promise I’ll hold nothing back in helping you crack the code on your life.

My clients describe me as warm, funny, and direct. I bring the rigor of clinical psychology to the work, but it feels like a conversation between two people, not a lab. No worksheets, no pills, no skills.

Sometimes the first session is an in-depth intake; other times we dive headfirst into the deep end. That's largely up to you. I open nearly every session by asking, "Where do you want to begin?" because it makes you think about why you're here and what you want from our time. That's how we change your life.

I was a "lost cause" near the end of high school, abusing drugs and contemplating suicide. A therapist helped me turn my life around, and that experience is why I became one. I don't believe there's any such thing as a lost cause. Everyone's hurting for a reason. If we can figure out yours, we can change your life.

I use an integrative approach I call Functional Psychotherapy. It draws on psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, interpersonal, and experiential theory, and it's guided by memory reconsolidation research. The goal is to get to root causes, not just treat surface symptoms. I bring 15+ years of inpatient and trauma-focused psychotherapy, plus supervision.
