Victoria Hallgren

I mostly use a person-centered and cognitive behavioral approach. My goal is to create a space where the client feels safe, productive, and supported. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and what it would look like to feel better, and as a team we work toward that together.

Together, we can explore many challenges relating to trying to conceive, pregnancy, and postpartum. We can work together to process the grief, sadness, fear, excitement, joy, and all the emotions and situations that come during this perinatal phase of your life. We can also work together on creating healthy communication skills and coping skills.

My goal is to create a collaborative space where you feel you can face your challenges.

I specialize working with people who are navigating the perinatal phase of their life. This includes from trying to conceive to a year postpartum. The challenges can include fertility stress or challenges, anxiety or mood changes, postpartum anxiety or depression, adjusting to parenthood, processing pregnancy loss, infant loss, or termination.

I became a therapist because I wanted to support others in navigating challenging times in their lives, and in becoming who they truly want to be. I specialized in perinatal mental health because of my own experiences during my pregnancy and postpartum journey. It really does take a village, and I am honored to be part of yours.

I am located on Grand Ave in St Paul for in-person sessions, and offer telehealth sessions. My current hours are Tuesday and Wednesdays from 9am - 2pm, with the goal of adding Thursday to my schedule. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with loved ones. I enjoy Star Wars, watching sports, crocheting, baking, and going to state parks.
