My approach honors the whole person, their values, their culture, and emphasizes the mind-body connection. If you're tired of feeling tired, feeling stuck in a mental loop, feeling that scary body sensation, feeling like you've lost the real “you”, or facing other concerns, meaningful change is possible with therapy, even when it feels like there’s no hope.

Together we will develop genuine clarity and understanding of the big picture and why you are experiencing what you are experiencing; this sets the stage and informs the healing work we will do together. Then we will collaboratively work toward your mental/emotional/behavioral/relational wellness goals one step at a time, at your own pace.

My clients describe me as patient, compassionate, warm, grounding, and an active-listener. My goal is to make therapy a comfortable space where we can really work through those not-so-comfortable things that get in the way of life's important moments, our goals, as well as our most authentic and productive selves.

I specialize in working with people who have difficulty with sleep, regulating mood and the anxious/panicked nervous system, and those whose present lives are affected by past trauma. I also specialize in providing body-positive approaches to Weight & Wellness, including weight loss support, and support for overlapping emotional/behavioral challenges.

I am a VA-trained psychologist with a health psychology and integrated care background, and I am honored to be able to offer all of my specialties through my own private practice.
