My goal is always to utilize a person-centered and strengths-based approach in my work. I use evidence-based modalities including DBT, CBT, trauma informed therapy as well as applying somatic and attachment theories and provide psychoeducation whenever I can.

Life can be difficult and can come with unexpected challenges, but you are more capable of overcoming them than you think. My focus is to help my clients determine realistic and attainable goals, be more self-compassionate towards themselves, and develop lasting skills to improve their everyday lives.

The first session is usually longer (about 45-60 minutes) because it focuses on understanding your concerns and background. During this visit, I’ll: Ask about your current symptoms and what brought you in. Explore your medical history, mental health history, and any medications you're taking. Ask about your lifestyle, relationships, and stressors.
