I am not accepting new clients. If you want to be added to a waitlist, I will notify you when I have an opening.
My clients describe me as:
Warm, caring, understanding, insightful, with a sense of humor
Something to know about my approach is:
I’ve noticed that the more intense and invasive a client’s symptoms were, the more likely that they experienced child abuse or neglect, bullying, sexual assault, incest, discrimination, living in poverty, witnessing drug abuse or domestic violence.
Together, we will:
We will use mind-body approaches to explore how sensitivities from your childhood are being triggered and causing you to react to pressure in ways that appear out-of-proportion or unrelated, leaving you feeling hypervigilant, anxious, and ashamed.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are you frustrated by behaving in ways that don't serve or make sense to you? Maybe, behaviors and patterns of thought that helped you function as a child are still driving your thoughts and behavior today. I can help you get your freedom and peace.
I became a therapist because:
I had a pretty crappy childhood and had to overcome a LOT of challenges to find peace in my life. I love helping others to find their own peace.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I encourage clients to do their own research and to be proactive in their treatment; to think of their therapist as someone on THEIR team.
More about me and my practice:
In Sept, 2020, I will begin a months-long "Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Trauma" training to increase my skills in this modality. I also have a background in Mindfulness, DBT, IFS, and Exposure. I'm all about helping people get their Freedom.
