Something to know about my approach is:

I have worked with clients in severe emotional distress, and also with clients who just feel a need to "find a new path forward". Many of my clients are survivors of trauma, dealing with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues, or grief.

My goal is to help you create the change you need in your lived experience. Therapy is about creating a strong working relationship and I want to get to know you, and help you know yourself more deeply and compassionately.

I specialize in working with people who:

I strive to create a client-centered experience for the individuals and couples I work with. That said, I have worked extensively with personality disorders, relationship issues, the LGBTQ+ / those transitioning genders, and grief and loss.

I became a therapist because:

I find people interesting, and I find there is an element of mystery and magic to the healing process. I also know we have to work to heal ourselves.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I welcome clients from all backgrounds. I don't work "in a box" and am open to clients with more unusual issues that "can't be put to words" easily.

I work both in person and by video. In addition to individual therapy, I work with couples in marriage/relationship counseling.
