Beth Friedman

While I have the training to work with various modalities including psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy, I will always prioritize a person-centered approach. I believe that everyone is an expert in their own lives.

Together, we will work towards your therapy goals in a way that allows for self-exploration and self-determination. We will work collaboratively to create an environment that promotes growth and self-realization.

A counselor who sees them for who they entirely are rather than what brought them into therapy.

I specialize in working with people who have a history of mental illness, including but not limited to generalized anxiety, major depressive disorder, and various mood disorders. I also specialize working with people who have serious mental illness.

I thought of my innate ability to connect to other individuals and how joyful it made me to offer support and guidance to friends and family,

I work with my client in helping them decide what works best for them in their therapy journey. I provide psychoeducation in helping each client understanding different modalities and how they may benefit them in the context of their journey.
