Friendly, warm, and validating. My goal is to meet you where you're at, while empowering you to be vulnerable and self-directed.
I believe we need both acceptance and change to cope effectively. I'll teach you how to accept who you are and what has happened in the past, while also learning how to change what is within your control so that you can have a better life.
Explore your past and its impact on you, while learning new ways of responding in the present. This can include changing your thoughts, creating new habits, improving self-talk, and being more effective in relationships.
Are suffering from anxiety and who want help managing symptoms such as catastrophic thinking, avoiding people or places, panic attacks, feeling compelled to perform certain behaviors, and worrying excessively about what others think or being perfect.
I have lived experience with anxiety. Therapy saved me from living a small, isolated life. I now want to help others gain control over their fears.
I can help you just as effectively in my office or virtually in your home. I find it's best to connect where you feel most comfortable and safe.
I tend to anchor to CBT and person-centered approaches, but my style is highly adaptable. Depending on how you learn and communicate, we can do process-oriented work, or more structured/directed work, or both.
