Focus on emotional and behavioral issues in response to sexual and physical trauma, grief from various losses, maternal mental health challenges such as postpartum depression, miscarriage and infertility, and problems in their partner relationships.

Warm, validating, trustworthy, nonjudgmental, present, engaged, dedicated, good communicator, collaborative, and focused on the goals of the client.

Have feelings of guilt/ shame who think something is wrong with them or they are the problem. They develop “pleasing” behaviors to maintain harmony in relationships. They struggle with self image and turn on themselves through blame and anger.

I am curious about communication patterns that individuals develop. I look for deeper meaning and to connect past experiences with present behaviors.

My professional vision is to focus on women’s issues to assist them in strengthening their internal emotional platforms as the path to self-empowerment through increased self awareness, self compassion, and self acceptance.
