Office hours are Monday - Thursday 9 am to 3 pm, Fridays 10 am to 1 pm.
My clients describe me as:
Caring, compassionate, goal oriented, relational, welcoming, silly, grounded, calming, social-justice oriented, gently encouraging, and down to earth.
Something to know about my approach is:
I start every session with a grounding exercise to help you feel more relaxed as we get started. I'm a highly structured therapist, so you don't have to worry about any awkward silences with me. My goal is to put you at ease.
Together, we will:
conquer social anxiety, overcome performance anxiety, increase self-compassion, find fulfillment, make closer friends, unpack the impact from not-so-good parenting, build healthy relationships, set healthy boundaries, process trauma, and more.
I specialize in working with people who:
feel like they worry "too much," feel stressed or lost in life, want to communicate better, are going through big changes, are their biggest critic, are "people-pleasers" and would like to feel more empowered. Together we will reach your goals!
I became a therapist because:
I care about people! I've always been passionate about social justice issues, which is why I became a social worker. Therapy changes the world!
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am licensed in both California and Oregon, and will be opening up an in-person office in Larchmont Village, Los Angeles. I offer virtual therapy.
More about me and my practice:
I am an EMDR-certified therapist, which means I am always learning and honing my skills! I also offer EMDR intensives, which are an opportunity to overcome challenges quickly, rather than spreading therapy out week by week. I'm also an actor!
