Adaptability and receptiveness are two aspects I've worked on with myself to work hand-in-hand with my professional life.
I try to make my therapeutic environment as comfortable as possible. In my eyes, it should be like having a close friend who you actually enjoy talking with. Difficult topics are easier to talk about when you know and trust who you’re talking to.
Through my training and my own mental health journey, I can empathize and sympathize with the particular set of circumstances you want to talk about.
My ideal client is someone who wants to help themselves. Going to therapy is a difficult move to make. It's a leap of faith and an act of trust.
I love the human mind and helping people, so becoming a therapist was an easy choice to make!
I'm a member of Resilience Lab — the largest community of clinicians working collaboratively to produce better outcomes and improve mental health.
When building rapport with a client, I believe in natural conversation, oriented toward being an individual with unique characteristics.
