My hope for clients in the healing process is that they always feel heard, truly heard. While I cannot physically step into my client’s shoes, solve their problems, or take their problems away, they do not have to face them alone.

I will support you by listening to your experiences. You will support yourself by validating your experiences as you express them. We will break down learned reactions/responses and re-construct a life you look forward to living.

My clients describe me as genuine, passionate, personable and understanding.

The goals of my ideal clients would be to find peace and purpose in their lives, by learning the skills necessary to maintain their peace and ability to fulfill their purpose.

I was inspired by a professor who empowered individuals she worked with, and served as a support system, advocate and beacon of light for clients.

I reflect well and lead client centered therapy with less focus on what I say and more focus on what clients say. Being culturally responsible means being client centered and listening to the client's preferences.
