I work with capable, driven people who are worn out by their own standards. Perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-doubt are usually the patterns underneath. I'm direct and practical. We look at what's driving those patterns and work on actually changing them, not just managing them.

Slow down long enough to look at what's actually driving the exhaustion, the anxiety, and the pressure you put on yourself. That usually means examining what's underneath the performance, not just trying to deal with the symptoms. From there, we work on changing those patterns at the source, so you can think more clearly and live with more purpose.

Warm but direct. As someone who asks the questions they've been avoiding and doesn't let them stay comfortable with patterns that aren't working. They say it's challenging without feeling like pressure, and that what we sort out in session actually shows up in how they live and handle things outside of it.

Have been "high-functioning" for so long that the anxiety and exhaustion just became background noise. Most of them aren't sure when it started feeling this way. They just know something isn't working anymore. When we start looking at it, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout are almost always involved.

Medicine was actually my first plan. But the part I kept coming back to wasn't the diagnosis or the physical side of it. It was what was happening in people's inner lives. That's what I wanted to work with, and it's still what drives the work now.

I've been practicing since 2013 across a few different settings before founding Dimensions Counseling Center. Now I work exclusively through telehealth in Tennessee and Virginia with professionals and high achievers. EMDR, Gottman couples therapy, and ACT are the approaches I keep coming back to that have been the most successful with my clients.
