My approach is integrative, multicultural, and trauma-informed, drawing primarily from person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, emotion-focused, and somatic techniques. Because every person is unique, I tailor my methods to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.

My clients would describe me as warm, open, and affirming. I am very inquisitive and like to dig deeper into things, especially when it comes to emotions and patterns in your life. I can also be direct and challenging when needed.

I specialize in working with people from BIPOC, immigrant, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds who are seeking healing from trauma, relationship or family-of-origin issues, life transitions, cultural identity concerns, boundary issues, anxiety, depression, and other difficult experiences.

I became a therapist because I didn't see any therapists like me when I was growing up and needed mental health support. I have always had a passion for mental health and social justice and saw the few available safe spaces for BIPOC, immigrant, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ people and wanted to add to them.

I take an acute interest in generational and complex trauma as well as boundary setting in collectivist family cultures. Like many other neurodivergent women and AFAB people, I was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood. I continue to be interested in the lived experiences of, and new research regarding, neurodivergence in women and AFAB people.
