Clients tell me this is different from therapy they've tried before, and that difference matters. As a solution-focused therapist, I spend less time on the history of a problem and more on what change would actually look like for you, and how to get there building on strengths you already have. My overall goal is practical movement toward the life you want.

Therapy should not be treated as a "one size fits all" process; your input is extremely valuable at all stages of therapy. You're the expert on your life and I'm here to help you use that expertise. I'll ask about your strengths and past successes as much as your struggles. You identify what change actually looks like for you, and we move toward it together.

I was thoroughly lost (and addicted) in my 20s, and I found a fantastic therapist who ultimately showed me I could translate my past pain into something positive. Part of my journey is being of service to others; I think it's important to leave the world better than I found it in whatever way that I can, and I've always had a passion for helping others.
