Jesse Cardin

I offer depth psychotherapy for people who want to understand themselves more deeply, break old patterns, and live more authentically. My work is relational, curious, and collaborative, drawing from depth psychology, IFS, and contemplative practice.

We’ll look beneath the immediate problem to understand the patterns, beliefs, relationships, and parts of yourself shaping your experience. Together, we’ll make room for what’s difficult while discovering new ways of relating to yourself and your life.

Clients describe me as warm, honest, insightful, humorous, and easy to talk to. I bring curiosity and compassion to our work, while also being willing to challenge you when it’s helpful. Therapy with me is serious work, but it doesn’t have to feel solemn.

I work especially well with thoughtful, curious adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, identity, self-criticism, or questions of meaning and purpose. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ people, creatives, and helping professionals.

I’ve always been fascinated by what makes us who we are—and by the possibility that we can become freer, more authentic versions of ourselves. Therapy lets me explore those questions alongside other people while doing work that genuinely matters to me.

My approach is influenced by depth psychology, Jungian thought, IFS, and nearly two decades of Zen practice. I offer a warm, human kind of therapy for people who want more than symptom management. I offer a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
