Laura Leedy

I focus on creating a calm and supportive environment that promotes hope and healing. I work with clients to increase coping skills, recognize and reframe distorted and intrusive thoughts, change negative core beliefs, and process trauma.

Together we will work through past and present experiences that are negatively impacting your life. We will work to decrease distress and restore hope to your life. Life can be hard, but you don't have to go through it alone.

I have been told I have a calm, compassionate, and reassuring presence, but that I also help clients see and understand things in new ways.

I am particularly passionate about serving people who have experienced some form of trauma in their lives. I have extensive training in EMDR, which is used to decrease the frequency and intensity of distress caused by traumatic experiences.

I know how devastating it can be to feel broken, overwhelmed, or not good enough. I want to help people overcome their hardest moments and live better

I received my Master's Degree at Colorado Christian University, and gained experience at private practices and by volunteering at local domestic violence and human trafficking shelters. Outside of practice, I enjoy riding horses and martial arts.
