Currently open to clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
My clients describe me as:
Attentive, caring and professional. I focus on giving useful tools and support to clients so they can make lasting improvements for themselves.
Something to know about my approach is:
There will be homework and I have been called blunt. I want to be your cheerleader as much as possible, but sometimes we all need someone to help keep us honest with ourselves. I find a balance of lighthearted and serious is needed for everyone.
Together, we will:
Explore your difficulties and what is keeping them present. We will examine what strengths you already have that we can build on and learn new tools to enhance the person waiting to break out of the negative cycles.
I specialize in working with people who:
are dealing with depression and anxiety symptoms. I work best with clients that are ready to make changes to their life to improve thinking, feeling and behavior. Healing can be hard work, and I want to help my clients through that process.
I became a therapist because:
to better understand some of the maladaptive behavior patterns in my family growing up, and to help others who may have developed similar patterns.
More about me and my practice:
I have worked for many companies in the past and you can most likely still see some of my reviews from ACFS(now EmpathyHQ), BetterHelp, and ZocDoc. I am currently working with Headway which allows me more control of my practice and private rates.
