I approach therapy understanding that I am of service to you. Your goals, your voice, your pace. Sure, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or EMDR into my practice, but at the end of the day, I'm going to model a healthy human relationship capable of sitting in the uncomfortable nature that is being human.

Work together to not only understand what symptoms you're having, but also create actionable goals that result in ACTUAL changes in between sessions. My default isn't a handout or a podcast, but rather, listening, reflecting and modeling how change can occur. Even in loss, we can still search for the shore. I'll bring the light!

Direct, open to the discomfort of being a human, and humors. My clients often report therapy with me is 'different' in that there isn't a handout or off putting bravado. I truly align to my values of Hope, Humility, and Honesty.

As a Combat Veteran who served in the Army for 8 years, I realized that pain and loneliness cannot be solved through negative behaviors. It takes time, grit, and an unrelenting perseverance to work through what has happened to us. There might not be 'healed' in my story, but I'll continue to try and learn how to cope with life's challenges and help others.
