I appreciate hearing that my clients consider me safe, supportive, and non-judgmental. I like to laugh and I can challenge you. It could be either.
You will own your experience. We will discuss what brought you here and, when you are ready, I will challenge you to look deeper. You may experience feelings of validation, acknowledgment, relief, and self-understanding.
We will work to identify underlying issues and to rationalize a plan that will allow you to navigate that in a healthy and successful way. Goals will be realistic and feasible. You will feel valued and your strengths will be highlighted.
Working with veterans for 20 years, I have typically counseled men. I have a great understanding of issues that pertain to self-confidence, navigating relationships, dealing with past traumas. I am well-versed in anger management, and handling fear.
My Dad is a Vietnam Veteran and, from a young age, I knew he and others needed help. So I joined the Army to provide mental health care.
My office space is modern and clean in a downtown location--easily accessible by car, foot, or public transportation. Also, I offer virtual care.
I am a father of three. I am divorced. I am a Veteran and a New Englander, living in Wisconsin. I love sports and continue to stay involved with baseball as an umpire. I invite clients to meet in person, or virtually, and I want to help you improve.
