The most important part of my practice is building rapport and a strong therapeutic relationship. I want this to feel like a safe space for you to process your feelings and experiences. I'll let you take the lead and I will strive to always meet you where you're at.

Together we will create therapy goals, gain coping skills to help you feel like you can address what you came to therapy for, gain a better understanding of what and why you are feeling the way you are, and we will work through what is important to you in these sessions.

My clients describes me as a calm, understanding, non-judgmental, and attentive clinician. Some clients may even say that they feel like they are talking with a friend in our sessions - a space that they can truly feel comfortable in. While these may be true, I am also goal-oriented and want to be sure that we work towards your goals.

I specialize in working with people who are experiencing grief/loss, new and seasoned parents, individuals that experience anxiety and depression, chronic health issues, and life transitions.

I became a therapist because I had adverse childhood experiences and my goal was to always become the person that I needed as a child.

My daughter was the motivation behind starting my practice. My practice name, Malie Therapy Services, LLC, was born and derived from a part of my daughter's Hawaiian middle name, which means calm, tranquil, and gentle, which is the approach of my practice.
