My clients describe me as a “velvet hammer”, direct, compassionate, and always supportive.

I work with clients of all ages who have experienced early childhood trauma, are struggling with developing a stronger sense of self, who have suffered loss and want to understand better how to deal with family, friends, careers and aging.

Therapy saved my life, and allowed me to change many of the dysfunctional intergenerational behaviors I inherited from my family of origin.

We’ve raised our five children in Agoura Hills and I’ve worked with many families in the area for 30 years in my own private practice. I have had the privilege of training with Violet Oaklander for 25 years and am the Founding President of the Violet Solomon Oaklander Foundation (vsof.org).
