My clients describe me as:
Clients describe me as warm, caring, and strong. I am able to provide warmth, compassion, and care while also challenging my clients.
Something to know about my approach is:
I use mindfulness techniques to create a safe space in therapy and help clients feel safer in their bodies. I also teach cbt skills that help clients gain control of their intrusive and/or negative thinking.
Together, we will:
Reconnect with the mind and body, learn and practice coping skills, discuss what happened to you, and finally move forward with peace and self-empowerment!
I specialize in working with people who:
Have experienced a traumatic experience in their life, such as sexual abuse or physical and/or emotional abuse. My ideal client is someone who is willing and ready to face their fears, to challenge themselves, and wants a better life for themselves.
I became a therapist because:
I knew I wanted to be a therapist since high school. I believe in justice, and have alot of compassion for people. Therapy allows me to practice both.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Telehealth is a great option for people with busy schedules, that are anxious about attending in person, or just want to try out an alternative.
More about me and my practice:
Through cognitive behavioral therapy I help individuals with trauma overcome their fears and negative beliefs about themselve and the world.
