My first priority with a client is to build trust, and safety. Your therapy space is your sacred space and I work hard to protect it. Its also important to me that the work we do is collaborate (together) and active, meaning that we will be intentional about the work we do together.

Better understand your symptoms, triggers, and patterns. We will work together to increase your self awareness, and use that to change how you respond to your symptoms, and triggers to create new patterns. Together we will talk about what happened, we will grieve together, and then we will learn to let go.

Clients describe me as warm, caring, and strong. I am able to provide warmth, compassion, and care while also challenging my clients.

Have experienced a traumatic experience in their life, such as sexual abuse or physical and/or emotional abuse from a partner or parent. My ideal client is someone who is willing and ready to face their fears, to challenge themselves, and wants a better life for themselves.

Growing up as a first generation, eldest daughter of a mixed race family, I saw many of my peers struggle with poverty and trauma. My longing to help my peers and better understand myself lead me to my therapy journey. I am grateful everyday that I can help others heal and watch people grow into a self loving, confident version of themselves.

I mainly work with the LGBTQ, and BIPOC community, as well as individuals with disabilities, step families, and new parents.
