Supportive, compassionate, and open-minded. They would also describe me as someone who is wholeheartedly honest with them and wants the best for them.
I use several types of evidence-based psychotherapies to create a customized treatment plan tailored to your specific wants, needs, and symptom presentation. All of the psychotherapies used are evidence-based (meaning they are supported by research).
We will collaborate about your diagnosis and treatment plan. During treatment, your treatment plan can be updated at any time. We will always work collaboratively and in line with your therapeutic goals at your comfort level.
My clients are typically people who experience distressing psychiatric symptoms that interfere with their functioning. Because I have worked with the US Navy, I have worked with a lot of active duty military members and Veterans.
I like helping others live a better life.
I don't believe in a cookie cutter approach. You will get a personalized treatment plan with evidence based therapies that are combined to help you.
I take only Tricare Prime and Standard Insurance as I am interested in helping our military members and their families. Verify my license here: https://search.dca.ca.gov My website is www.sdpsych.net
