I have been described as a "calming" presence that helps my clients get in touch with their real selves and goals for their lives. I am a resource.
My approach is client-centered, meaning I am not the expert on you - YOU are. I strive to help my clients using a variety of approaches including EMDR, DBT, and CBT. My aim is to help you understand yourself better and achieve your goals.
We'll discuss how your past and experiences have shaped you, but also where you want to go and what's standing in your way. We'll tackle issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD to gain a sense of agency and control in your life.
I work with many clients who feel stuck in their lives. Whether it's because of past trauma or present challenges like anxiety, depression, or other diagnosis, my job is to help you move past these things in your way.
I became a therapist because therapy helped me understand my own problems and myself more deeply, the good and the bad. This lead to real change.
I offer both in-person sessions in our Encino office as well as the option for online sessions for clients in California.
Our practice works with people from all walks of life facing any number of challenges without judgment. Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #125539 Supervised by Curt Widhalm, LMFT #47333
