My approach is client-centered (what works for you), relational (how you connect and feel connected to others), and integrative (draws on various techniques). I especially support clients in exploring and identifying unhelpful patterns and behaviors, establishing boundaries, and identifying and navigating choice to find a sense of security in their lives.

build a therapeutic relationship that allows you to have a secure space to show up authentically without judgment or criticism - to be completely as you are. That trust will allow space for us to explore your life experiences, build on your inner resources (they're there - I promise!), and support you in creating positive paths in your life.

direct, transparent, laidback, and a therapist who brings humor and their full self into the space. I do occasionally swear, but will not if that's not for you!

often feel "stuck". It seems like a "simple" word that we see or hear all the time, but many of the clients who I have treated have been struggling for various lengths of time to make sense patterns that got them to where they are, their history of feeling sad/anxious/"not enough", or feel in the middle of many transitions and challenges at the same time.

both my professional experiences and my social-political world reflected that there are more people out here, on this planet, who are struggling than how we feel. I wanted to help others make sense of all the grief floating around us. To witness them in their best light, and help find exceptions to what can feel dark.
