Past abuse, neglect, or trauma can shape the way you think about yourself and the world. Sometimes difficult experiences from the past continue to impact us long after the event itself. It can make it difficult to trust yourself or others, manage emotions and reactions, and can keep your nervous system on high alert.

I use evidence based approaches to help clients build self-awareness and identify how past experiences may be unconsciously driving behavior. We will work together to help you better understand, and increase control over, your emotions.

Experienced, knowledgeable, nonjudgmental and compassionate. I have been licensed since 2008. While I specialize in trauma, my work in an HMO has included treatment of a range of issues (depression, anxiety, substance abuse, grief, etc.). I have over 17 yrs of social work experience and have worked with system impacted youth and incarcerated men and women.
