Trauma-informed, compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. My top priority is for you to feel safe, supported, and in control during our sessions. Most people with trauma have not felt this way in a long time (if ever) and therapy cannot be effective or healing without these components. You are safe to be yourself around me.

Collaborate to identify your treatment goals and preferences and then work towards these goals at a pace that feels right for you. You don't have to do this alone or know all the right steps to take. Allow me to walk alongside you and support you in this process.

They emphasize how helpful therapy with me is and how I help them understand themselves better, heal trauma, learn new coping strategies, overcome or reduce fears and anxieties, set healthy boundaries, and empower them to move forward in life and believe in themselves.

Have experienced trauma, struggle with severe anxiety and/or depression, need support with regulating their emotions, and want to learn to reframing unhealthy thinking patterns. I also have a significant amount of experience working with LGBTQIA+ populations and helping clients who struggle with self-harm and/or suicidal ideation.

I've experienced my own mental health struggles and I saw for myself how impactful it was to have a great therapist. I wanted to provide similar support to others and help them find hope and healing. I feel like my personal mental health journey allows me to better understand and support clients.
