Thomas is trained in several counseling modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, traditional career counseling, family systems theory, and Stanford University Empowered Relief pain management.

He most frequently works with clients in a strong solution-focused and client-centered approach, seeking to identify client goals, develop options and plans, and track progress towards them.

He provides individual counseling services to clients throughout Colorado, and also occasionally works with corporate clients in need of mental health services for their workforce. Some of his past corporate clients include a conglomeration of over 180 hospitals, and one of the largest health insurance companies in the country.
