Anxiety, trauma, and relationship stress can spike emotions fast—leaving you reactive or drained. You may fear abandonment, swing between closeness and distance, or feel stuck in shame, anger, or impulsive choices. Some cope with substances, self-harm, or blowups. Diagnosis or not, these patterns are common—and treatable. You don’t have to white-knuckle it.

To achieve these goals, I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), ACT and psychodynamic theory modalities to build skills, form an identity, and connect with personal values. We can uncover underlying causes of trauma, which allows for long-lasting resolution. We will develop healthy coping mechanisms to help reduce reliance on alcohol or drugs.

My clients describe me as warm, real, engaged, committed, compassionate, kind hearted, direct, and non-judgmental. Some clients, who have long-standing histories of therapy and often feel burnt out on the therapeutic process, describe my style as a breath of fresh air. They appreciate my collaborative approach and allowing them to come in on equal footing.

I specialize in working with people struggling with borderline personality disorder, sexual abuse, identity issues, substance use, and finding purpose in life, to name a few. My clients tend to be insightful and empathic, and simply need a helping hand getting back on track.

I became a therapist because I have a passion for helping people gain control over their lives and find happiness. I’ve helped many people make progress, and I wouldn’t do this job if I didn’t see people get better.
