My practice is mindfulness-based with a holistic approach: nurturing your mind, body, spirit, and learning to be being present with yourself and the world around you. We may explore your childhood, relationships, and difficult experiences to help you learn about yourself - or focus on changes you want to make right now.

Collaborate so you can heal and grow by learning to reconnect with your mind, body and surroundings, trust yourself, prioritize your needs, recover from people-pleasing and perfectionism, set boundaries, and accept that nothing is wrong with you (or at least be more open to that idea).

May experience anxiety, depression, sleep issues or have a history of trauma. They're interested in learning more about themselves in order to change how they move through the world and how they react to stress. They want to improve their struggles with shame, prioritizing themselves, and relationships.

When I started learning about psychology I was fascinated with all there was to learn about how my mind worked. It was a new way to understand myself and I wanted to help other people do that too. I realized that I could integrate that passion with my social justice values, and empower my clients to combat the effects of oppression.

In my work I use mindfulness and meditative techniques because they have versatile uses and benefits but I don't push it if it's not your thing. I have experience supporting clients affected by sexism, racism, ableism and LGBTQ+ marginalization. I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a trauma intervention (I only practice this in-person).
