I see clients Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
My clients describe me as:
A therapist who focuses on your strengths, works with you as a team, listens attentively, and understands that adjusting to life transitions is hard.
Something to know about my approach is:
I will validate your thoughts and feelings as they help me determine which interventions are best for you. I believe you are the expert in your life, but I will also provide you with the guidance, tools, and resources you need to achieve your goals.
Together, we will:
Focus on your strengths and who you are, as I believe we are influenced by our past, the significant people in our lives, our place of study/work, and our communities. We will discuss the ups and downs of life, and focus on your personal growth.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are experiencing anticipatory grief or grief due to the loss of a loved one. I also work with couples and individual clients who are experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, or depression or are going through a difficult life transition.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to use the unique, difficult life experiences I have been through to help others in return. Helping others find their way brings me joy.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I'm conveniently located in Central Connecticut right off 84, there is parking in the rear of the building, and it is wheelchair accessible.
More about me and my practice:
As I treat each case individually, I leave it up to you to determine whether you want telehealth sessions, in-office sessions, or a combination of both. I do not take insurance at this time but I offer a sliding fee scale.
