At this time, I focus on afternoon and evening weekday availability and have some Saturday mornings.
My clients describe me as:
warm, nonjudgmental, comforting, kind, and empathetic but firm. "She actually gives me the help that I need to get better and stop feeling so badly."
Something to know about my approach is:
I am a LCSW and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with an eclectic treatment approach that hinges on the idea that we are constantly navigating the connection between our mind (thoughts and beliefs), body, spirit, environment, and experiences.
Together, we will:
work to have you feel safe and stable so that we can process traumatic moments, depression, and anxiety. I use evidence-based techniques, strengths-based approaches, and client-centered theories that sometimes give you homework outside of sessions.
I specialize in working with people who:
are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or traumatic experiences. Many of my clients have struggled to find peace and healing in their daily life, so they come to therapy to help with finding that peace and healing and joy.
I became a therapist because:
I enjoy helping people find the healing they need. As someone who went to a bad therapist before, I strive to be the best therapist I can be for you.
More about me and my practice:
I truly believe that therapy is a tool to help you get to where you want to go and help you get more out of life. I also believe that having a style that is always adapting and changing to the benefit of the individuality of each client is important.
