My approach is rooted in relational healing, parts work (IFS), inner child healing/reparenting, and gentle mind-body connection. Therapy with me is trauma-informed, emotionally-focused, & strengths-based. My hope is to create an environment of trust and safety for you to share parts of yourself that have been silenced or unseen for too long.

Together, we will turn toward what has been left in the darkness and meet it with compassion and care. We'll explore your childhood experiences, relationships, beliefs about emotions, & get to know your parts and the stories they carry. We'll compassionately look at difficult behavior patterns & work together to soften these automatic, protective responses.

My clients describe me as warm, human, expressive, and open-minded. Many of my clients have thanked me for not being a "blank slate therapist" and for always seeing them as people first, and clients second. I welcome humor during sessions (though we may talk about its protective purpose!) and believe laughter & celebration are an important aspect of healing.
