My clients describe me as:
Non-judgmental, easy to talk to and someone who just "gets it."
Something to know about my approach is:
I think that listening is the most important part of my role as a therapist. From there, I work to help my clients identify patterns in their behavior, relationships, and emotions and how we can work together to make changes.
Together, we will:
I help clients discover how their past experiences shape their current beliefs and mindset. From there, we reflect on what beliefs we want to modify, get rid of or keep.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are going through a major life transition such as becoming a parent, losing a job, moving to a new city or retiring. Change is inevitable, but how we embrace and manage it makes all the difference!
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to be someone others could come to when things appear on the outside to be "all good" but they really aren't.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I provide therapy in Blair, Nebraska and am proud to offer this to the rural community. Additionally, I see clients virtually in Nebraska and Iowa.
More about me and my practice:
I have worked in several environments including home health and hospice care, inpatient mental health, the Dept of Veterans Affairs and after school programing for at risk youth. In my free time I enjoy golfing, playing with my toddler and traveling
