I meet you where you are. What that means is that we will work together to figure out your strengths and what is holding you back. Your goals are discussed and work towards. Empathy and non-judgement are felt in the room so that you can be yourself.
Lean into emotions, challenge old self-defeating and limiting thoughts, focus on the here-and-now to heal and process, identify maladaptive patterns, identify your strengths and values, and create a space to be your true authentic self.
I specialize in working with people who are from all walks of life. I work well with people who are struggling with all different types of grief (not just the loss of someone but maybe the loss of an idea or a life you once had) and more.
I have been on the other side of the couch. I struggled so much of my life and know how much of an impact a good clinician can make in our journey.
We can do telehealth to make it accessible but I can also find a private space near your home or work to make the in-person sessions accessible.
I myself see a counselor and know that some days when it is sunny outside the last thing I want to do is sit in a room and talk about my feelings. That's why I am offering walk and talk nature therapy, where we can get outside and process there!
