I have availability on weekdays.
My clients describe me as:
A relatable and supportive listener, collaborator, and resource provider who encourages growth and progress through building on your strengths.
Something to know about my approach is:
I draw from a variety of approaches to find the best fit for you and your goals. We'll build from your strengths, and you'll gain insight about what's standing in the way of the life you want AND strategies on how to change that.
Together, we will:
work to find peace and self-acceptance, and make sure you start showing up on your own priority list. We'll work together on developing skills and strategies to use both now and when facing new challenges.
I specialize in working with people who:
are so busy taking care of others, like parents, educators, and health care workers, that they overlook their own needs or are so used to being the ones helping that they struggle to ask for or accept help for themselves.
I became a therapist because:
Helping others grow has been the common thread throughout my career path., first as a teacher, then a school counselor, and now as a therapist.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I have a special interest and additional training on adult child/parent relationships, esp. adult children of emotionally immature parents.
More about me and my practice:
I know how difficult it can be to ask for help and how vulnerable it can feel, but when you're ready, I would be honored to join you on your personal journey of guided growth.
