I believe therapy should teach you something you can use for the rest of your life. I don’t want therapy to be a mystery—I want you to understand what we’re doing and why, so you can apply what you learn outside of therapy. My role is to help you develop the understanding and skills to navigate life with greater confidence and independence.

Together we will figure out what is getting in your way, understand why it’s happening, and find ways to move forward. I’ll help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, learn what you need to know, and use approaches that fit you and your goals.

My clients describe me as authentic, down-to-earth, direct, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. They tell me they appreciate that I’m genuine and straightforward, and that I explain things in a way that makes sense rather than using a lot of clinical jargon.

I specialize in working with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, stress, or major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with people who want to understand themselves better, learn practical tools, and make meaningful changes in how they respond to life’s challenges.

I became a therapist because I’ve been fascinated by how the mind works for as long as I can remember. Even as a child, I was drawn to understanding the brain, and people naturally came to me when they needed help. I discovered early that I loved both understanding people and helping them find their way forward.

My home office is occasionally visited by one of my cats, usually Kai, who has apparently appointed himself my unofficial office assistant.
