I work a lot with couples and people going through big transitions: career changes, move, relationship pivots; all the things life throws at you when you're already busy. I use Gottman Method and Emotion focused for couples work. For individuals I blend a variety of approaches for deeper relational work depending on what you need.

We'll look at both the practical: thoughts, behaviors, coping strategies, and the deeper: the stories you're carrying, the patterns you keep finding yourself in, and what you actually want your life to feel like.

My clients describe me as warm, occasionally funny, relatable, curious, and straight to the point. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation and not a performance.

I specialize in working with people and couples going through transitions: the kind of changes that are technically exciting but can quietly put distance between you and the people you love most. New jobs, moves, becoming parents, rebuilding after loss, and when life keeps moving we sometimes need help catching up to it.

I became a therapist because I believe the relationships we're in with partners, with ourselves, with the work we do- shape everything. And I think the moment when those relationships get hard are exactly when the right support changes things.

As a Black woman I bring both clinical training and lived understanding of what it means to build a life, a career, and a relationship while carrying things that don't always get named in a therapy room. That context isn't separate for the work, it's part of it.
