Mon-Friday, daytime
My clients describe me as:
Empathetic, knowledgeable, and "the voice in their head" when they need support or are challenging themselves to grow.
Something to know about my approach is:
I use a client-centered, strengths based approach drawing from concepts of mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. I am LGBTQIA and BIPOC affirming.
Together, we will:
Identify the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are keeping you stuck. I will help you learn and practice the coping skills that help you manage the stressors of life to build resiliency, self-worth, and the life and relationships you want.
I specialize in working with people who:
Struggle with anxiety and are experiencing life transitions, such as starting or ending a relationship, graduating from school, experiencing a job loss/change, having a child, grief/loss, moving, or any other impactful change.
I became a therapist because:
life can be hard and isolating and I want to provide people with a safe place to feel validated and share their story.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer walk and talk therapy sessions for self-pay services.
More about me and my practice:
My clinical background is in families and children. I have experience in residential, school, and private practice settings treating children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I also have experience in substance abuse counseling.
