I utilize concepts from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as the backbone of skill building, and this is paired easily with the interpersonal relationship of therapy that I bring. My approach also encourages reflective exercises in the realm of expressive arts and committing to a process of self care.

Together we will work to untangle who you are from what you've been through, and find ways to bring an empowered version of yourself to the front of your life. We will look at patterns, life experiences, emotions, and ways you've already learned how to survive. We will speak candidly and have open dialogue about our work as it evolves.

My clients describe me as direct, patient, and non judgmental. Clients often feel comfortable telling me not just how life makes them feel, but how our work together makes them feel; the highs and the lows. It's important to be able to discuss what is coming up in the therapy room, and how to advocate for your needs, starting with our sessions.
