With over 25 years experience understanding threads of developmental trauma, I help connect this thread, undo it, and re-thread the needle of a new path. Developmental trauma threads begin age 2-90 years. Threads include life events, years of abuse, suicidal thoughts/sexual trauma. I offer an approach that supports connecting understanding with solutions.

I hope to offer foundational commitment to how trauma impacts daily life, and make change rather than living in survival. As the daughter of a Viet Nam Veteran, I came to understand developmental trauma in my personal life, my social work career with children, and eventually as a Soldier. As a Veteran myself, I have come full circle.

I invite both to be human with both strengths and limitations. I treat everyone with this same respect and understanding. I validate reported experience rather than narratives. I do not type in front of anyone, and am flexible with pricing, scheduling, and cancellation policies. I am open to being confronted about my own bias and hope you are too.
