I do not practice traditional psychotherapy. My aim is to teach you how to effectively apply mindfulness to your daily process. I have taken ancient techniques regarding mindful awareness and tweaked them to be more applicable to modern day life.
Focus on cognitive/emotional identification, non judgmental awareness, controlled breathing, unplugging, self kindness, & authentic engagement. We'll also learn the difference between response vs reaction, and process vs content.
Struggle with depression and/or anxiety. I also help people find healthier alternatives to destructive behavioral patterns including overeating, gambling, sex addiction, and various forms of self-sabotage.
I wanted to help ease the human experience through mindful awareness as opposed to labeling people with crippling diagnoses and prescribing them meds.
I will provide a safe and trusting environment for you to strengthen your understanding of self and improve your quality of life.
Therapy today is often overpriced and difficult to access. I started my own practice to break through these barriers and offer sliding scale pricing based on individual client means. I will do what I can to provide services to all who reach out.
