Something to know about my approach is:

I do not practice traditional psychotherapy. My aim is to teach you how to effectively apply mindfulness to your daily process. I have taken ancient techniques regarding mindful awareness and tweaked them to be more applicable to modern day life.

Together, we will:

Focus on cognitive/emotional identification, non judgmental awareness, controlled breathing, unplugging, self kindness, & authentic engagement. We'll also learn the difference between response & reaction, as well as experience vs outcome orientation.

I specialize in working with people who:

Struggle with depression and/or anxiety. I also help people find healthier alternatives to destructive behavioral patterns including overeating, gambling, sex addiction, and various forms of self-sabotage.

I became a therapist because:

I wanted to help ease the human experience through mindful awareness as opposed to labeling people with crippling diagnoses and prescribing them meds.

Therapy today is often overpriced and difficult to access. I started my own practice to break through these barriers and offer sliding scale pricing based on individual client means. I will do what I can to provide services to all who reach out.
