Joelle Ellsworth

Hello, and welcome! My name is Joelle Ellsworth, LLMSW, and I am currently accepting new clients at Butterfly Path Therapy. I provide compassionate virtual sessions where meaningful work can happen from the comfort of home, often with a blanket, tea, or a pet nearby.

Together we will unpack your experiences and learn new skills to help you start feeling better. I enjoy supporting sensitive and caring people in building self-compassion, confidence, healthier boundaries, and a kinder relationship with themselves.

My clients would describe me as kind, patient, and easy to talk to. They often say they feel safe opening up to me and appreciate that I balance compassionate listening with thoughtfulness.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, complex trauma, attachment wounds, low self-esteem, perfectionism, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), relationship difficulties, and emotional overwhelm. Many struggle with overthinking, self-criticism, and feeling stuck in painful patterns.

What I love most about this work is helping people understand themselves more deeply, find relief, while building a kinder relationship with themselves. My goal is to create a space where your inner world is held with care.

My style of therapy encourages self-discovery and self-empowerment while helping individuals develop practical skills for finding relief from emotional distress, strengthening relationships, and creating lives that feel more aligned, meaningful, and fulfilling.
