I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). As a registered dietitian, I also believe in the power of nutrition and physical activity for mental health.

I specialize in working with people who:

struggle with self-, binge eating disorder, and chronic illnesses. I am passionate about helping people learn how their past played a role in the way they see the themselves, others, and the world, including cues of danger and life threat.

I became a therapist because:

As a dietitian, I didn't have the knowledge to uncover the underlying "why" individuals were unable to achieve their goals.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

Virtual therapy has allowed me to see clients from all over the state; most importantly, it allows me to see my clients in their natural environment!

I feel it is important to view a person through all aspects of their life, not just their mental illness. There are so many factors involved in why we think, feel, and act the way we do. Therapy is a journey and I feel privileged to walk on this path
