Cynthia Phaerion

I use a relational-cultural, attachment-based, trauma-informed lens in therapy with an emphasis on resilience, present-moment awareness, and growth. I incorporate both expressive and somatic work into sessions, supported by parts work and mindfulness. I believe in the power of non-verbal communication in addition to talk-based therapy and insight.

Our work will center creativity, intuition, and presence, and will strive toward fostering self-worth, developing ways of coping with difficult experiences and overwhelming emotions that better serve you, and cultivating meaning in daily life.

I work primarily with folks who have experienced relational trauma or attachment wounds, those struggling with suicidality or self-harm, and folks seeking more stable and meaningful relationships.
