I like to think of therapy as a collaborative process between me & my clients, since they are the experts on their own lives. My role is to serve as a guide in working together through their lives' messy, raw & unfiltered areas.

Get to know one another & develop an idea of how to proceed. We'll discuss things like the length of your treatment, modalities to be used & the ins & outs of confidentiality. I will allow time for you to ask questions about me & the therapy process.

An active listener, nonjudgmental, empathetic, authentic, observant, caring, compassionate, self-aware, warm, respectful, relatable & transparent.

Struggle to care for their own emotional needs....they’re used to putting the needs of others first (through people-pleasing, avoiding conflict, and having poor boundaries), but they have a hard time helping and caring for themselves.

I know what it’s like to feel distraught, uncertain & lost because I’ve been there before & have had to rebuild my life from the ground up.
