My clients describe me as:

I tend to be a pretty easy-going person, and use humor as well, but will confront a client on unhealthy behaviors and thought patterns as well.

Something to know about my approach is:

I do quite a bit of work with trauma, depression and anxiety. I use CBT and TF-CBT. When I see a client in-office, I also use EMDR.

Together, we will:

I ask about what a client's goals are in the first session, and let them know that if there is something we are doing/trying that isn't working for them, we can always change it and try something else.

I specialize in working with people who:

I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I do place a degree of focus on the connection between our physical and mental health when I am working with clients.

I became a therapist because:

I know the struggle it takes to parent a child with mental health needs. My oldest two have ADHD, and my youngest has Down Syndrome and medical needs.

My name is Mandy Browning, and I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in the states of Missouri and Arkansas. I have worked with clients of all ages, but since the pandemic hit, my primary clientele have been adults.
